Join me in Upstate New York this September for a long weekend of writing, connecting, and creative nourishment sure to free you from the shackles of your everyday life and leave you feeling open and ready to write the stories you’ve always wanted to tell.
Starting Friday night we’ll kick off with a cocktail hour, chef-cooked meal and our opening writing workshop. The rest of the weekend we’ll breathe in the crisp Fall country air while eating fresh local food, immersing ourselves in a creative community of like-minded writers, and workshopping your writing to help dig up the gems just beneath the surface.
You’ll also get a private one on one session with me to workshop your favorite piece from our weekend together and get my advice on what you and your story need to take your writing to the next level.
This retreat will wake up your imagination, and provide you the rare luxury every writer dreams of: three empty days of stillness with your story. At night we’ll provide wine, dinner and a live storytelling circle. During the day there will be plenty of time for writing exercises, feedback and breathing room to roam the beautiful property of Sylvan Motor Lodge and take in the (peak!) foliage that envelopes the grounds.
